How To Have Va Va Va Voom Lashes Everyday

November 30, 2015

Sometimes it’s the simple things that make ALL the difference to your appearance.

Like actually getting 8 hours of sleep. Or like after I finally get around to getting my monobrow threaded after far too many weeks and suddenly it’s like i’ve had a mini face lift or something.

Or like the time I tried an eyelash tint so I could forgo mascara for a few weeks. I am all about cutting corners when it comes to getting ready and looking decent at any time of the day for sure.

So wouldn’t it be nice if you could wake up each morning and basically boot out the door within minutes and still look half decent? What if you could shave off a minute or so from my already short 5 minute morning routine?

I know, it’s hard to believe right, but I think I have found the answer y’all….

EYELASH EXTENSIONS!

Yes, I know this is nothing news AND this is sort of a bit of a dichotomy for me since I am pretty much a complete and utter tomboy most of the time but I do have a wee bit of a girly side AND who doesn’t love looking decent without having to do anything at all (well, except actually get the extensions done).

So after admiring many a friends sultry lashes over the past few months and having them go on and on about how AH-MAZING they are I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. One local gal here in the burbs came HIGHLY recommended from several trusted sources, and she only lives a block away so it was a win/win.

The first time took about 1.5 hours and since I have a TON of lashes to begin with it was quite the process. Like any relationship it will take some time to figure out our “happy place” but the results were pretty amazing. The next time I will definitely opt for less lashes and for shorter ones as well but I am loving the fact that I get up in the morning and could easily run out the door with nothing on my face. Like no mascara, no muss and no fuss. Awesome!

So I think for the remainder of the holiday season I am pretty sold. I’ll go back in a few weeks for a “small fill” but thats about it.

Now if only there was some magic solution for my dark circles! 🙂

The lashes look amazing! I’ve been admiring someone’s lashes at work too. Does the person you went to get your lashes done have a shop in Langley?
