How I will get my mojo back in 2015

Fire in the belly.
Raison d’etre.

Whatever you call it, it is there. It might be buried beneath the burdens of raising kids, making lunches, making money, commuting, those extra few pounds and all that jazz, but it is there. Your mojo might be a wee ember and it’s barely smouldering, and all you need is that one thing to make it spark again.

For me, that was re-discovering mountain biking. My long simmering ember was threatening to be extinguished for good when I took that fateful leap last May 2014 and registered for an Endless Biking Course. BEST. DECISION. EVER.

Not only did mountain biking re-ignite my mojo, it keeps me fit, it fuels my competitive nature and it is damn FUN. Now I am integrating my mojo into all aspects of my life both work and play and it feels GREAT.

I know that extreme sports might not be everyone’s “thing”, and maybe your “thing” is cooking, or writing, or taking yoga, or hiking, or travelling or any one of the thousands of other sports or hobbies out there. But you do have a “thing”, I promise you that. Find that “thing” and re-ignite that spark. I promise it will be the best decision you make this year.

    I really want to find my THING. It may be writing but most often I struggle with it. Good for you for finding yours! I am enjoying following your journey.
