Today was another GOOD day. Like yesterday, the sun was shining, the air was crisp, and I got to spend some quality time with Joey and my sistahs from another mistah out on Burnaby Mountain.
On the ride up the hill (it wasn’t exactly 11:11 but it was soon thereafter) I spent a few moments thinking about Remembrance Day and how very lucky I have been that anyone in my family or extended family that had been to war had the great fortune of coming home in one piece.
I felt thankful for another great day and how fortunate we are to be living in a (fairly) peace loving country where we don’t fear the threat of war, or have to experience its horrors on a daily basis.
And then I descended……
And this one was from yesterday…..
