I do not profess to be any sort of cosmetological expert in any way shape or form, but I like what I like, and it seems to work fairly well for me and with some guidance from some very lovely and smart cosmetological friends of mine I can sometimes put myself together in a not-so-terrible fashion.
But not when it comes to a winged eye, that I will never, ever be able to do.
Anyways, I have been using a few products lately that I am in lurve with and thought I might share with y’all.
Stila Oasis Eye Shadow
The perfect fall eyeshadow shade for easy day to day wear. Although who am I kidding, my day to day wear is basically nothing these days unless I have a work meeting or something like that. Anyways, pair this with the liquid liner below and you are golden!
Stila Got Inked Cushion Eye Liner
As I mentioned above, I am a nightmare when it comes to eyeliner of any shape or form. Especially as I get older I need liners that are gel or liquid to help “glide on” my wrinkly ole lids. So the other day I was trolling around Shoppers and came across this little pot of goodness. The tiniest bit of shimmer makes it stand out from a normal liquid liner and the staying power is amazing (which is good until you mess up a lot like I do).
Elta MD Tinted Sunscreen
I LOVE this daily sunscreen. You can only purchase it online or from your fave medi-spa which is a bit of a pain but it’s so worth it. It has the lightest, non greasy texture and is zinc oxide based without any sort of “white mask” look at all. I have been purchasing the one that is “tinted” like a BB cream so it gives a light bit of color and coverage to my increasingly pale skin. It also has Hyaluronic Acid which adds hydration and plumps skin, reducing fine lines – holla!
Vivier Hydragel B5 Advanced
I have a serious dehydration problem. I mean, it’s bad. I tend to only hydrate with two things in life and that is coffee and wine, and maybe water if I am on a bike riding epic. Anyways, my skin pays the price (hello alligator skin!) so I have been using this miracle gel under my moisturizer to give an added boost of Hyaluronic Acid, which as we know helps reduce fine lines and plumps the skin. Double holla!
