The simple cure for bad hair days

November 16, 2013

toqueI decided it would be fun to start documenting the trials and tribulations of dressing my 40 something, post babies, not everything quite where it should be, yet athletic sized body.

To start things off, I wanted to pay homage to my favorite fall/winter accessory – the toque! This is my go to look (with aviators) for school drop off and times I am just too lazy to do my hair or makeup (which is often). This particular toque is a lovely little number I picked up at Free People last time I was in the States, it has a fleecey lining to keep your head warm and it’s loose fit allows for long term wearing without feeling like you are getting “brained”.

Maybe I am in denial that I am not a 20 something snowboarding babe anymore, but to hell with it, toques are cute, warm and functional – a win, win, win.

I am not a toque fan myself, but if you love them go for it. It looks good on you! You rock the look! Enjoy!

Gasp? No toques? Perhaps a fedora instead 🙂
